Documentary Film Success in NYC

Crazy Legs Productions’ director Tom Cappello called on Eclipse to help produce the documentary In Pursuit of Justice, for the annual CPJ (Committee to Protect Journalists) Freedom Press Awards Dinner in New York City. The 10-minute documentary’s topic was the Maguindanao massacre, a horrific event in the Philippines that CPJ cites as the “single deadliest event for journalists”.

The Film had a powerful impact on the 900 attendants. Tom Brokaw described: “If you weren’t sure why you are here tonight, then that video certainly helps you understand why tonight is so important.” CPJ staff also called the film “unprecedented” and Reuters CEO & executives praised the CLP/Eclipse team for making them look great in front of all the other news agencies.
